Good information, but a better separation of advertisement and content would be appreciated. In the EU such content without having a big „advertisement“ visible throughout the whole clip (ad) is not allowed and there is the danger that the clip is taken down.

Jordy, this is a good video, but you keep talking about your sponsored laptop which really downgrades the video experience. Please, instead of spreading the sponsorship across the video, just keep it in a one minute segment. I'm not interested in this laptop, I don't want to hear this laptop anymore. It costs more than a desktop computer and will overheat, there's no avoiding that.

I used rotobrush 3 earlier and it was actually insane

I rotoscoped a video of myself running so I could add some explosions behind me and it was incredibly fast and the roto was almost perfect
Really the only thing I had to change the roto of was the refine edge

Just used Rotobrush 3 in the newest release 24.1, and just using a clip of a ballerina spinning worked so well! Like, the rotoscope stayed in place on the person the whole time without rotoscoping the background accidentally.

Understandably, people filmed in MCU and CU can generally be rotoscoped with After Effects' Roto Brush well. The issue however with semi-automated rotoscoping is always people or objects seen in wider shots, that move erratically or cross objects with similar colour hues. When video artists are confronted with such scenarios the only way is to manually rotoscope.

The rotobrush 3 is a big improvement - its a lot faster and i have to refine it was less to get good results. been using it about a month now and love it
