You’ve possibly used the wrong type of anchovies. Deli anchovies are ‘fresh’ and in vinegar and oil. Wrong flavour. You need salted bottled anchovies in oil, no vinegar.

Tinned pineapple loses its natural enzymes and ‘punch’ which is why you can’t marinate meat in tinned pineapple, i.e. all the enzymes are killed by the canning process and don’t break down the proteins.

Hit it up again, but try salted bottle anchovies and fresh pineapple.

the trick is to put the canned cool pinapple on AFTER you cook it. otherwise it gets rubbery.

ive had this before, i didn't do double pineapple or anchovies, i did regular pineapple and light anchovies, and it was pretty good. Its slightly salty then sweet, its a good combination between the two ingredients. I'd do it again, because I like pineapples plus enjoy the flavor of anchovies, not the saltiness, so you may be better off going light anchovies.

What's going on with the sauce, my friend? It needs far more purée to thicken and some mixed herbs (oregano and basil), and garlic paste. Also it's important to brush the pizza base with extra-virgin olive oil to prevent a soggy base, especially when you are using such wet toppings. Also be sure to add olive oil to the dough itself, 1-2 tablespoons per pizza base, along with a pinch of salt.
