This might be a shot in the dark, but knowing that Max is now a famous photographer and is invited to be an artist in residence at a university leads me to believe this game follows the timeline where Max submitted her photo to Jefferson and therefore wins the “Everyday Heroes” contest. It would make sense because the Everyday Heroes contest jump-starts young artists into a big career when they get out of college.

Now, I know that photographers can get famous by just putting their photos out there. But I think this is a fun idea.

With the lack of Chloe in this story, and the overall “clean slate” vibe I’m getting, it feels like it works simultaneously as a sequel and a reboot 🤔 I’m really curious how I’ll feel about this when I play it! …but Chloe was my favorite character, I will miss her…
