It's key to note that not every backyard has a 12/12 day/night trail/road alternation. Many just use the same loop throughout

Thanks for the watch tips. I was thinking turning off auto lap and hitting the lap button at the start of every yard could be a good way to measure. If you forget to press it it really wouldn’t matter if you had the time as a data screen aswell. Also set your pace data to lap pace.

Thanks a lot, mate. Really useful and love your talking manner. Hope you post a lot of ultra running stuff. Especially backyard ones. Good luck!

Great video, my weakness is at 6:54 in your clip! Love it in winter when don't have to worry about them. In really warm weather (part of the nutrition), make sure to take sodium and electrolytes.

👌🏻Literally the 1st video on watch strategy and the one I’m most interested in. Doesn’t leaving the watch on the whole time slow your average pace down overall. Not that it really matters

Best of luck next week, I appreciate the video. I'm racing in the "Last Man Standing" up in Maine on the same day. I'm guessing very different temps we'll be dealing with. (Mid 70's during the day, and 50's at night), and this race is only in the woods, no road section. Looking forward to seeing how your race goes.
