DJI Osmo Pocket Z-Axis / 4th Axis Stabilizer Review

Is it worth you buying a Z-Axis / 4th Axis stabilizer for your DJI Osmo Pocket? Will it allow you to film smoother cinematic footage?

I've been testing out the z-axis stabiliser sent out to me by Steadymaker and I think it's a very clever tool, but only a select few people are going to buy it, and this video will explain why....

What do you think of the footage shot with the Z-Axis Stabiliser? Personally I thought I handled the Pocket better without it, but I think it will help most people using a gimbal like the pocket for the first time!

I don't think it's a good idea to vlog with the z axis stabilizer, because it makes the background buttersmooth and your face bobbing allover the frame...;)

It seems the footges with the stabilizer are more shaky than the others ^^
I've bought one (Scotty doesn't deliver in France, so, i've bought a Startrc), and, yeah, it's not magic, like ND filter, it needs some use to take before getting great stabilized plans ;)

Why are you calling it a zee axis rather than zed axis?

Not enough difference to justify the expense. Some instances were worse with the stabilizer.

The Up and down wobbler as the footage of the alledged "stabilizer" shows. Final verdict with the tool the footage is actually more shaky lol.

You mentioned connecting a microphone to your OP but you didn't show if the z-axis mount has a proper hole in its base to connect the DJI 3.5mm mic adapter.

Been using a Idolcam 4th axis with my pocket 2 and Gopro, helps smooth out the bump a lot.

Utterly useless in most case scenarios and adds a gigantic bulk to what was originally supposed to be a very pocketable handheld unit. Sorry but this makes no sense
