This video is centered around World War 2.

Many young men, mostly ages 18-45 with the average age of 26, were drafted into the war. I represent this with UK’s second scene.

On December 7, 1941, the Japanese bombed a port in Hawaii, US, hoping to destroy the US’s navy fleet and ensure a slow recovery. Unfortunately for the Japanese, this move was not effective and ended up dragging the US into WW2. I represent this with USA’s second scene, where he is over Hawaii’s hospital bed.

On December 26, 1991, the USSR collapsed. This isn’t really related to WW2, but it does fit the audio’s lyrics more. The fandom likes to portray USSR as a father to all his states/provinces, including all the modern-day countries like Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

I honestly really love what you did in the last part with the Soviet Union, because I think there’s a statistic saying that 80% of all men born in the USSR in 1923 wouldn’t live to see their 20th or 23rd birthday due to the significant losses the country had while fighting the Germans

I know this is WW1 not WW2 but the first British soldier to die in WW1 was 17 years old, he’d been in the army for two years (14 turning 15) lying about his age. His mother didn’t know what happened to him for years and the Germans buried him before the English or Dutch did, because they left his corpse where he died. May Private John Parr Rest in Peace, a brother and son, loved by many and forgotten by some.

I somehow feel related to this song but the closest I've felt is I was born a military brat up until I was 11 but now I want to join the military and every time I listen to this song I imagine the Notification officer telling my parents I that I have died on deployment and I imagine them breaking down. I also have good grades in my high school so I relate to the "he should've been a politician" and I imagine my mother telling the officer all of the things I could've been.
