JC had a mandate to lead the party. He filled his shadow cabinet with those who were from a Blairite tradition, in order to show willingness to work together. They performatively quit their roles, and formed an ill-fated offshoot party for dramatic effect. He avoided mandatory reselection of hostile MP. At every step of the way he offered olive branch after olive branch, to try and bring the party together, but ultimately the right of the party would not accept him as leader. The nastiness, and factionalism was really coming from one place, and as usual it will take some time before the rest of the world catches up with that reality. The Forde Report goes some way to prove this, however its overly diplomatic language gives the saboteurs a get out clause.

Thanks for uploading this clip... These people need to be held to account for their deliberate misinformation.

BTW Sienna, we're not 'Corbynites', we're democratic socialists.

Following the publication of the report will the money be repaid by those who lied and were given an out-of-court settlement and will the honours awarded be withdrawn?

Keir Starmer has ‘won back’ the Labour Party’ ? What does that mean??? The party is now routed in socialism with high trade union involvement as it was founded to be?? I think not and ‘highjacked’ would have been a better description.

What a dreadful factional analysis - “a curse on both houses”. The main takeaway for me is Forde’s acknowledgement that antisemitism has been weaponised. By whom? Think about it. And the idea that Starmer has united the party - how stupid do you think people are?

Kier Starmer is ideologically aligned with Boris, which is why he never challenged policy but made all of his rebuttal personal.
.
So whilst Kier Starmer was taking kneeling photos for optics, he was ignoring complaints of Afriphobic racism in his own party.
.
When questioned about where thought the BLM movement might lead, he said "I think this will only be a moment not a movement", he then proceeded to do his best behind closed doors to make that statement accurate.

I've always held Sienna as pretty even-handed on Labour issues. A little disappointed with the framing from her here 😕
