By the way that “60 miles in less than 1 minute” comes out to a minimum speed of roughly 3750 miles per hour (6035 km/h). That’s insane. The only aircraft built by humans (that also carried humans onboard) other than the space shuttle that has ever travelled that quickly is the X-15 hypersonic research spaceplane designed by NASA (called NACA at the time)

This issue is bigger than anything that involves our politics, economy, or society. Those things are all problems created and sustained by people, and they could be solved just as easily as they were created if those people were so inclined.
