Dell waits for over an hour to be called in, and he barges in during an interview demanding to be met because he has to go meet his son. Philip decides to listen to Dell's story, and when he mentions doing time in prison, Philip asks what he was in for. Dell tries to change the subject by turning it around on him and says that he must be offered the job after being asked that question. He hired him, exactly because he was the worst candidate. He wanted someone who will not hesitate to not resuscitate him in case anything happened. Instead, he found a free-spirited friend who helped him feel alive again

unfortunately it's difficult for anyone to take Kevin Hart's acting serious with his non stop comedy roles. This scene feels less serious, less meaningful than the original and intended. Every time he makes witty remarks it feels like another Kevin hart comedy movie, which he probably didn't intend to do.

Can someone provide context as to why he Kevin harts character was so tough on Cranston’s character ? Besides being an hour late to interview him; idk that only warrants a couple of complaints about that topic only . And then he declines the job offer and wasn’t happy w anything . Context pls or is this guy written/directed otherwise these guys are dumb enough to think someone would ever get offered a job after taking like that to the interviewer.

This film already exists. It’s a French one, talking about the real story of 2 French guys. Who does American film industry need to steal all foreigners big successes. Deal with doublage like we do that’s all. And stop appropriation.

Just judging by this scene, feels weird…
Like some jokes are shoved in for the sake of jokes. Feels unnatural.
Like, in the original every funny moment was more organic.
Dunno, maybe thats the way Americans do things and it seems logical and funny to them(no offence)
Its just it doesnt to me.
Just sitting there watching and almost expecting a laugh track shown in or something.
