Last Power Rangers Toy Hunt For Wave 9 (Vlog 669)

Even after the nearly 8 hour toy hunt around Philadelphia, as well as having gone out several other times looking for Lightning Collection wave 9, I wasn't ready to give up! I was determined not to be months behind every other channel, like usual. Montgomeryville Target was the one I wanted to go to first. Before all of the other toy hunts. And for some reason, we kept not going there. Almost went on the way home from Philly, but we'd had enough for that day. Anyway, you'll never guess where we found the wave...? I guess it really is always in the last place you look. So, had we gone to Montgomeryville Target first, maybe they wouldn't have been there. Sure, I'll tell myself that! That's usually the bad Target, but I really had a feeling about it this time. Man what a pain this wave was to find!

Now, people like to say in the comments, "don't feel bad, I haven't found them yet either." No, it's not about feeling bad. It's about us running a Power Ranger toy channel, and having viewers who mostly want to see things right now-right now, and quickly move on to the next thing. As MMPRtoys, we need things immediately. As Bruno the collector, I can wait until the things show up that I pre-ordered, I'm not in a big hurry. I know they'll be here eventually, and really, I'd be happy not to spend all of that time and gas running around on a wild goose chase, that's time that could be better spent doing just about anything else. I don't get why some people are paying scalpers $50 per figure when all of the pre-order links are still up. Amazon says August, Target says July. Sometimes things end up shipping faster.

Jerry's birthday was Saturday. We went to New Hope. Absolutely beautiful area and an absolutely beautiful day. Now, I know posting this vlog is setting myself up for disappointment, which I'm sure you guys would then end up hearing about. Jaw droppingly beautiful nature is always a turn off to people on this channel, and man did we go to a beautiful place. A few, actually. (And Mia flirted with a Peacock) So, I'm thinking Patreon? If this video gets 1,500 thumbs up, I'll post it here. Then at least I know we have a good number of people interested. Otherwise, I know how it'll go and maybe it's better to start posting more vlog content on Patreon.

I got lucky and found most of wave 9 at my local Target in MD. (I have the Tenga Warrior on preorder at BBTS.)

I felt a little bad since the figures weren't on the pegs, but instead were on a bottom shelf and had clearly been hidden by someone trying to hide them til payday.

I'm happy you guys found the good deals at Job Lot. In Massachusetts, it's Ocean State Job Lot and your can get good deals on stuff. Sadly their stock isn't as dependable or regular as a Wal-Mart or Target.
