Hey guys that head gasket job is really easy. You will leave the exhaust manifold sitting in the engine bay and just pull the intake manifold and also leave it in the engine bay with most things connected. Remove the radiator hoses from engine. There is a 10mm bolt on the back of the head that has a ground. Then pull the top wiring harness that connects to the coil packs and pull coils and plugs. pull off valve cover, Set timing. Pull timing chain tensioner. Loosen and remove rocker arms in proper order. Loosen cam caps in correct order and then remove cam caps. Pull cams then let the chain just call down. It will NOT lose timing on the crank so it will be fine and you will see down in the block once you take the cams out that there is a little piece on the front timing chain cover that the chain can rest on. Loosen and remove head bolts, remove head. I recommend installing ARP head studs and use the cometic head gasket. That engine for the most part is pretty easy to deal with. Good luck and have fun guys.

You guys don't have to remove the fuel tank. Just remove the hose that feeds fuel to the engine switch the key on and drain the fuel into a bucket from there.

I think the S2000 driver hit a deer that was already dead and left laying in the middle of the road. That explains why theres no major damage to the hood etc.

Boys don't be afraid to rebuild this engine yourselves!!!! Farm out the block, crank and head for machining then reassemble yourselves!!! Make for great content too! Honda engines are easy to work on 👍

Well, you wanted a Lambo that spit fire, and instead you got a Honda that spits water. :-) Give that thing a proper rebuild! Just one more challenge for you guys.

So they ran over the animal, that cracked the radiator then they continued to drive until the engine over heated causing the head gasket to blow? P.s Thank you for so many likes! :)

You can do it. Rebuild it. Never seen you back down from a challenge.

I enjoy watching these builds more than a Lamborghini build because even regular people could afford this.

Give it a gasket change. Might as well decarbonize the whole block and look for damage on the cylinder walls. Flush out the whole fuel rail too. Take care. Love you guys.

Guy‘s it’s not head gasket issue.
Way blowing cooling liquid out of exhaust it does look like engine block cracked or one of line cracked .!! Which won’t fixed with new head gasket on.
You need full strip engine down for full inspection.!

If you’re doing the head gasket, get some arp head studs. Engine ready for a little boost 👌

You guys are smart enough to do it yourself you don’t need an engine or any one else do it

Love your content. And like the way y'all have stayed so humble and haven't changed content and way you explain how you fix your cars after all this time. Fan for life here
