eBaying old Nike & adidas running shoes - can I make any £££ ?

I decided to try to eBay some of my older running shoes which I no longer intend to wear in the hope of earning enough to buy a new pair. In this video, I show the 6 shoes am selling and how I listed them on eBay. The auction finishes around midnight on Fri/Sat April 8/9 2022.

Have just done the same thing Tim, sold my Peg turbo 2 (1/2 size to big, 50km ran) for £50 and some unworn Boston 9 for £20 ( disappointing). Good luck hope you get plenty of bidders!

Hopefully some buyers out there Tim. I put some of mine on eBay. Some I’ve not got on with and others well worn. Somebody usually buys them but often I put 28 day listings buy it now and accept offers.

Good video Tim. I'm a regular wheeler dealer on eBay for running shoes. I sold my NB Rebel v2's this week for £38 with about 100 miles in them. Not a bad shoe just never a go to for me, they were basically collecting dust so moved them on. Recently picked up some Peg 38s with 10 miles on the clock (I believe that as they're in superb nick) for £42 too so it is possible to get some good deals on there. I notice it's full of Streakfly's at above RRP at the moment...not for me!

I've got some old Endorphin Speed 2's on which finish Monday night, I'm not expecting a great deal from them as they are quite beat up now but they have five watchers and I've started them at £25 so if I can pick somewhere around that up for them it offsets my next purchase. That purchase I'm just about to make actually, those Bowerman TC Dragonfly's which are in the Nike sale. I'm going to give Comeback 5000 a go on Good Friday and have never raced on the track before so they're very much needed. Be good to see you if you're coming down, I know you like a track meet! Maybe you could do a bit of a vlog from there...you never know Lloyd might get you in the comm box as a special guest for 5-10 mins!!

Hi Tim. Great minds think alike! I'm down at Lee Valley today for the Southern counties indoor champs. I decided to round up my collection of Nike trainers (mainly lunars) and spikes and offer them for sale on the top rampart . Tenner for the trainers and 20 quid for the spikes. So any one who is a UK 9/9.5 should be in luck !

I' ve sold and bought a few shoes on ebay. It' s rare you find exactly what you' re looking for in the right size. But just set notifications for specific searches eg. Vaporfly and you can find some good deals every now and then.
There' s not much money to make from selling used shoes but I find just throwing them out or cutting them up a la SJD is kind of wasteful.

My experience with eBay as a seller of running shoes was very poor. I would always get offers immediately from scammers who were trying to get shoes without paying for them.. I was only able to sell one pair of shoes successfully. As a buyer, I have done much better.
