The MDE app should also have the option to 'track' your party members, so if you've lost your child or you lost your magic band, you can track it!

The app is so awesome, the only glitch is that the WiFi can be iffy for being able to actually use it in the park. We’re international so roaming with our own data is super expensive. I hope that Disney can beef up their signal to accommodate so many people using at once!

Bit of a mobile order cheat, especially during busier times or at busier locations: click the “I’m here” button either as you get off the ride/leaving a shop/what have you, as you’re heading to the restaurant. Casey’s Corner and other popular spots can get backed up, even with mobile order, so this way the food is ready right around the time you’re walking in

This is why I'm so jealous of the locals that are annual pass holders. I'd love to be able to come and go whenever I want and not worry about time or cramming everything into a week.. one day I'll live in orlando and have my annual pass..

As someone who hasn't been to Disney world in about 11 years, this just shows me how much its all changed, don't even remember getting the paper fast passes when i was there as i don't think it was that busy to need them, remember even riding midway mania, tower of terror and rock n roller coaster in the span of about 2 hours

My Disney Experience app is the BOMB! What a great convenience for WDW guests! Our 9-member extended family's experience with MDE was just exemplary at our most recent stay. Our group reservations were made early with the MDE, and we were able to make last-minute changes in the parks to accommodate members of our group. Mobile ordering is so convenient (and not used as much as you might think). WDW keeps improving the app capabilities. Although some report difficulties with park wifi, we have had no problems in recent years. GREAT WORK WDW!

For those of us outside of the US, I think it's important to point out that mobile ordering cannot be done from travel credit cards IE, we cannot use this feature as we can't link our credit cards because they're not recognised due to the cards not being from the USA.

I love the MDE. It’s literally a life saver! It took me a little while to get used to it when it came out but now I love it. It’s so easy to really maximize fast passes. I’ve used 10+ fast passes in one day at MK. Love it! I can not recommend the refresh trick enough. I’ve gotten same day big ride passes & dining reservations that I couldn’t get 180 days out. Don’t forget Disney adds more FP’s in increments depending on the park & the traffic in each park. It can happen 2-4 times a day with the first drop usually at 11am & the last one at 7pm. So keep checking 😉

An important note about mobile ordering, when you use MO you pay right away with the credit card linked to your account, it does not go onto you Disney bill like orders paid with your magic band. One huge thing not mentioned is you can look at your balance(items charged with your magic band) on your Disney account if you want to keep track of your spending or see how much you will owe at check out.

Your tip on taking screen shots of passes and dining is the most helpful. I used that trick when I went in December and there was a glitch that my reservations weren’t there. I was able to show my screen shot and problem solved. All these tips are helpful especially for someone not used to WDW, and is used to Disneyland.
