You should try for this if that’s what you want. It shouldn’t come across as complaining to discuss how colorism and racism affects you in your ventures. It should be seen as a sign that a lot needs to change for black women and working black women. This is amazing. Good luck Jackie.

Thank you for this conversation. I’m a fashion girl and have been in this industry for over 10 years and what you are saying is true. If you’re not an editor, designer, stylist or have relationships in the industry it can be hard to get your foot in the door. But I’m happy for this new transition for you.
