BLUE LAGOON | Paphos Trip | Baths of Aphrodite | Akamas | Cyprus

The Blue Lagoon (aka Isle Of Chamili), is located in Northern paphos region and in teh centre of Akamas Peninsula National Park. The natural bay has become a very popular destination for boat trips from Latchi harbour.
The crystal clear turquoise, shallow, warm waters provide the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful tranquil surroundings.
There are many boat companies that run trips along the Akamas coastline several times in a day.
It is also possible to reach the Blue Lagoon by road, however, the roads are mainly suitable for 4x4 drive.
If you ever find yourself in Cyprus, this is a MUST visit. Currently the Blue Lagoon is one of the most recognizable, and accordingly demanded natural attractions of Cyprus.

The Baths of Aphrodite is a natural grotto under an old fig tree, shaded from the warm Cyprus sun. Water flows down a wall of rock and forms a pool . According to Greek mythology, Greek Goddess Aphrodite used to bathe here and she met her lover Adonis at the pool when he stopped for a drink while hunting.
