'Kaarbanik Sound has been successfully releasing music digitally for almost a year now. Throughout their last 6 outings they established their statement of the sound - ambient, phantasmagoric, and uncompromised. Search through their catalogue to experience meditative, thoughtful samples and deep reverberation, which not overloading the bass spectrum, focuses on empirical and reflective harmonies.

KAB007 showcases music of Shoksuit, label’s original author and main contributor. ‘Kaarbanik Dub’ brings a new outlook on future releases, drawing towards 140 style, while keeping the unbroken atmospheric ambient sound of previous tracks with gentle combination of single hits and natural hypnotic waving of the sea. The fading synth parrots the organic samples opposed to pacing bass notes, sustaining the ethos of contemplative deliberation. ‘Mystical’ represents similar style, adding elements of glitchy, crushed percussions to a stormy, and spacious track, with similar “underwater dub” feel as the A track. The vocal samples teach us about the transparency and wisdom of interaction with art. The pan flute-like samples contribute to a tribal feel.

The release presents an interesting angle of looking at 140 music, soaked in ambience and subtle glitch, in even more reserved style comparing to Deep Heads or works of Burial. With clear and powerful mastering by Dub Studio it opens a new era for Kaarbanik Sound productions.' - Walya (Signalfire)
