When we worship God we should thank Him for His faithful promises. Dr. Getz mentions Romans 8:31-39 in the Reflection Question, asking what creative ways we can use Paul's words to worship and thank God for His promises. For me, I love to personalize Bible verses, so I would do that with those verses. Also, I would focus on the questions asked in those verses, and answer them personally, even reflecting on how the Lord has come through for me in the past. Sometimes I take Bible verses and sing them to the Lord, in private of course. However we use it, the Word is a wonderful tool in spending time thanking and praising God.

Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G. It was nice to hear the praise song "Holy, Holy, Holy" again. I wish it could be found on YouTube, as its own video so that I could listen to it over and over.

When we worship God we should thank Him for His faithful promises. Paul’s reassuring words in Romans 8:31-39 is a wonderful basis for worshiping and thanking God for who He is and what He has done. These verses remind us the power of relationship between us and our Father. These verses are filled with eternal promises. These verses speak of the Father’s heart, His grace, His love toward us.

No matter what we may go through, no matter who comes against us, we can be assured that God is for us. He is on our side. He loved us, and loves us, so much that He sent His Son to die for us. There was no sacrifice He wasn’t willing to make to keep us close to Him eternally. He knew we couldn’t pay the price for sin so He sent Jesus in our place so we could have a place in His family, as His precious children. It amazes me that even after doing this He opened up all He is, and all He has to us. Nothing is off limits when we walk with the Lord.

God won’t even listen to accusations from the enemy about us because He sees us redeemed and in right standing. We are justified because of the blood of Jesus. We can’t be condemned because Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes on our behalf. And the best benefit of all is that because of Jesus nothing, no one, can separate us from His love. Hallelujah! We have victory through Him, again because of that great love. We are more than conquerors! His love for us builds a bridge from us to Him and nothing can cause Him to love us less.

When we look at all of this how can we not worship Him? How can we not be confident in His love for us?

Be Encouraged! ❤
