What is Wisdom? | King Solomon Bible Study (Part 2)

Living life skillfully and rightly and successfully requires wisdom.

King Solomon was given the opportunity by God to ask for anything he wanted and he chose wisdom. Then, knowing the value of it, he tells us to: “Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you” He goes on to say: “Wisdom is better than refined gold and better than precious stones, nothing compares to it.”

So, the important question we address in this Bible study message is, what is wisdom and where and how do we get it?

I always loved the story I heard so long ago, a little boy was in a church service and they were taking collections and the little boy reached in his pocket and had a dime, and said lord this is everything I have, but it is yours, given from the heart, now many years later now a man, and financially successful, and he was asked to give a encouraging word, because of his success, and he said I really believe God has blessed me in life, with Financials and a blessed life, because as a child I gave everything I had to God, from my heart, I really believe that, and our from the church came a old woman's voice, o, yea, I dare you to do it again, and I thought of the rich man who told Jesus, I have helped the poor, I have done what the Torah asked, and Jesus said, Yes , now give all you have to the poor and follow me, ? And the man walked away sad, because he was very rich, and then Jesus told the parable of the rich man, so I wonder if the mega church pastors who are multi, millionaires, living in million dollars house's, could do that, give it all back to God To Jesus, and trust him start over, God is good all the time and I won't judge them or anyone because Jesus will judge, and yes at that time His children will judge with him, money is not evil, it is just a tool for living, but as Christians we do have a money test, and when we pass, The LORD will give you peace and health and wisdom to give it to those who who listen to him, his stor house's are always full, I'm glad pastors have plans so they can get to where the Good Lord Jesus is sending them, because souls will come to Jesus, we are in a broken world, and the devil is still the gods of this fallen world, or we would not have abortion, or wars and bad things happened to decent people, we truly are his, hands, feet and mouth, but we now have the power to speak his words, and angels will respond to you, but they are his angel sent to assist you, his, name and the blood of Jesus is alive and praises will win the spiritual battles we have, read his words always and pray, Amen God is listening and Jesus is alive, Amen and amen 👏

I'm glad pastors have air planes, so they can go when jesus says go, and yes there are pastors who fly there own planes and only use them for ministry, even though the church board has given them permission to use them for personal use if needed, but they don't, because they love Jesus and they are doing his will, Amen,

Mr. Dunn, thanks for your clear presentation. May I ask something regarding the story of the two women (at 29:00) ? On the basis of what wisdom do you think Solomon was sure that, after the real mother said "Don't kill the baby, give it to her", the other woman would not say lyingly say, "Yes, don't kill the baby, and as she said, give it to me. Because I am the real mother.." I have an idea about this, but I'd like to know yours.

We should not seek wisdom just for success, for what is success? Should we seek wisdom for worldly success?
Knowing what is right and wrong is not wisdom that's knowledge, choosing right is wisdom, i believe. When Adam ate that fruit of the tree he got the knowledge not wisdom.

Knowing the difference between right and wrong is not wisdom. Wisdom is transcending your biases and illusions to see more into reality.
