Seeing Azula be anything less than perfect is strange. Azula is supposed to be a prodigy, and we see that in the cartoon when she shows her perfect firebending to Azulon at a very young age (I guess 5 or 6). In the Netflix show, her training so hard to be perfect at the age of 14 and showing such blunders dissolves the concept of her being a prodigy. By 14, she is supposed to be perfect in her technique and fully in control of herself, not an angsty teenager.

For people saying it was useless flashy movement and shooting nowhere and not a big blast- just wait. This is the equivalent to a child showing her father a cartwheel. Azula will have her time.

Geez, at least Zuko and Iroh were cast well, but Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee look like a group of cosplayers at Comic Con or something. Doesn’t feel like them at all. Wouldn’t surprise me if Netflix tries to make Azula redeemable and less psychotic.

It would've been cool if Azula was more sadistic and challenging, instead of saying 'no' (which Azula wouldn't do) she instead picks them all as her opponent and defeats them--pleasing her father. This Azula sucks lol

I like how they portray the relation between Azula, Mai and Ty Lee, it actually is kinda nice showing that she genuinely cares what they think of her
I always kinda saw Azula to be very Possesive of the two, which was why she chose them to take them with her on her search and honestly doesn't really seem all out of character for me
