We visit Figueira da Foz | PORTUGAL FARM LIFE S4-E13 ❤🌞🌊

Today we take a road trip, to the west coast of Central Portugal, to visit the seaside city of Figueira da Foz. Its the second largest city in the Coimbra district in Portugal and a great place to enjoy the sunshine and the waves. The Mondego river runs from the Serra da Estrela mountains for 258 kilometres until its mouth reaches the Atlantic ocean in Figueira da Foz.
Our visit was brief but we absolutely loved it, and we hope that you did too. 🤗

We are Ken & Gina, and we left the UK in 2019 in search of a simpler life, away from our office jobs, and the hustle and bustle of the big city. We sold our house, left the UK, and left the Rat race behind us, to move to Portugal and buy a farm. We found an amazing farm in Castelo Branco, Central Portugal where we have lived for the last two and a half years. We make these videos for our friends and family to keep up with what’s going on in our new lives and as a record to look back on one day so see how far we have come. My great great grandfather João António was the architect that made that clocktower you saw at 3:00 in figuera possible and many other buildings throughout figuera in the days of salazar, my family has lived there and coimbra for decades but further before that it was even more north in the days of nobility as hereditary barons with distant ties to the count of vila flor, i look at this video and it brings back such memories of the times i was there in person, although no longer am i in portugal through these videos it makes me feel as if im still there and it brings me joy, thank you!

Figueira da Foz one of my favourite beaches. Only second to Praia Formosa, one of the many beautiful beaches in Sta Cruz, Torres Vedras.
