Knowledge of Active, Reactive and Apparent power is must for every electrical engineer, but most of the time we end up with confusion in this topic. So, you want to make basics of all these powers I would recommend you to watch the video. It's the easiest explanation you'll ever find and it's now with improved audio and visuals.

I have been in the electrical engineering field for over 30 years, this was the most straightforward explanation I have seen. Well done.

The best explanation I have ever seen.I am a EEE student, I watch your all videos which are awesomely awesome. I want a video about "The working principle of three phase induction motor with basic". May Allah give you long life brother.

This is the best explanation of active, reactive and apparent power that I ever saw or hear. Thank you for this and other explanations on your channel. Please continue in same manner.

great presentation. I wish I had these videos on the Internet when I was going to school!? we spent countless hrs trying to understand this concept but with no one to explain correctly. students of electrical engineering are luck these days. keep up the good job!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. There are two mistakes.
Min. 6:35 - active power has a different shape A*(sin(theta))^2
Min. 13:25 - a power factor of 0.8 means: 80%=active power, 100%=apparent power, (apparent power≠active power+reactive power; apparent power^2=active power^2+reactive power^2)

with this types of great videos, i dont have to attend class for lectures, i will only attend class for exams and C.A cos my lecturer is right here in youtube.

The beer analogy has nothing to do with reactive power; though people use it most often. Now I understand the true meaning of reactive power. Thanks Bro !!

This is such a good explanation. You've managed to condense 60 pages of textbook into less than 15 minutes thank you sir

Despite of being in the field for a year, no one could ever explained in such a detailed way, thank you soo much sir, well done👍🏻👌🏽

At last a clear explanation. Thank you.

Great video but gotta say that capacitor and inductor are linear elements unless their c and l values vary over time. That's because C=charge/voltage and L=flux/current which are linear relations. They can only alter the phase but not the frequency of the input. That's why you get a constant impedance when you divide voltage by current.
