Actually Qad2 was basically forced as Qf6 checkmate* was threatened. The computer suprisingly declares mate in 25(!!) after Qd5+???? still really fun game! I was too excited with the 2 queens and for whatever reason didn't look at Kh8. I assumed Qf7 would come thinking it was best for black to get one of the queens off. But Kh8 is just winning.

How often do you see a mate in 25 declared with the 2 Queens losing it haha.

Super technical nitpick: 47... Kxg7 should not have been played! The position after 47. Qxg7+ is already a dead position: the only legal continuation is for Black to capture the queen creating a stalemate. Under USCF rule 14D4 the game is immediately drawn when there are no legal continuations resulting in checkmate.

Really amazing how the geometry of the Chess boards allows for things like these to be possible. Could it be somewhat related to the fact that the Queen moves like a Rook plus a Bishop?

Probably not going to get an answer but at 15:35 could black push queen up two spaces (sorry don't know the board spaces it been awhile) and checkmate the king?
That may be a stupid move but if anyone sees this and knows what happens please let me know.
