My dad has been doing intermittent fasting once every month to combat his diabetes. God gave him a second chance in life when he almost died from a flesh-eating bacterial infection, and they said he wouldn't make it. Then they decided amputation of the infected leg was the only option, but then... the next day right before the procedure, they saw that all of the bacteria was gone. My dad is now a changed man and I couldn't be more grateful. Fasting would certainly help me in several ways.

I do no food, water only until night every day and his spirit is heavy with me almost everyday. He's very loving. And fills you with joy. Everytime I start to cry about a rough situation I feel his spirit and it makes me start laughing. Like a dad would tickle their kid to keep them from being sad about something.

I started the Daniel fast 7 days after a bullet bounced off of me. 7 days later I met Jesus and Moses in a dream. Then 7 days later I decided to go get baptized on August 6th 2020. 1 year later I found out August 6th is the feast of transfiguration. So the day I just randomly choose to go get baptized 7 days after meeting Jesus and Moses just so happened to be the feast of transfiguration.

I love this. Christians need to know sometimes to get results in prayer, fasting is necessary. My husband and I fasted for our daughter who was terminally sick and God restored her

I did a normal fast today(without water). I met up with my groupmates for our project for last touch ups. My part was not functioning at all, one of them asked me if I prayed today and that something does not add up with my God. I knew the devil was working so hard for me to lose my faith. I will continue to pray and fast and hope that God’s face will shine upon me for all the days of my life.

I am fasting for 24 hours and it’s starting when the sun goes down until next day when the sun goes down again (24h) and I’m not eating and not drinking, nothing at all!

This is so true. 24hrs no water or food. Continually praying for your specific need. I have healed from my addictions by this simple practice of fasting just once a month. Then applying my discipline to other things in my life. It is truly a gift from God. Try it.

Fasting is the toughest part of my life as being a Christian. I tried fasting for 3 days and by day 2 I end up drinking a milk substance so I can take my medicine. I've tried the Daniel fast and it didn't turn out so well either. The only thing that works for me is not eating anything when I wake up and eat around 2 or 3 pm. I wish I could do this like other people. But I'm annioted by God and I feel his presence in my life everyday. He's the air that I breathe inn everyday. I love him.

By Day 3 of my water only fast, my 4 year old was preaching to me about Jesus coming back ( I had been away from the Church for 10 years and have taught him nothing about this). I fasted for 5 days, it brought me back to Jesus.
I will being it again soon, just relying on Jesus ( and water) is so amazing, the connection, I can't explain it, you have to do yourself.
