Thanks for showing an elegant way of getting the old frame off. I’ll have to remember this next time. Because the cross brace breaks eventually. I got the frames off but not as elegant as you did. I’ve replaced the top frame twice on my 55 gallon over 25 years of owning it. One fish has managed to live that long too. The others are all gone but it’s hanging in there.

On my 55 gal do I need to drain the water completely or can I keep like 30%? It would be very challenging to catch all these tiny fish
