I am watching this as I also watch a huge plume of white smoke pouring out of my seafoam treated 1980 4.5 hp 2 stroke. Thanks for the video brother.

You can also add the seafoam directly to your It definitely helps on minor fuel system

Great video. Thanks for the info. I’m about to do the same procedure on my motor. Seems to help. I don’t typically belive in “snake oil” fixed but this sea foam product appears to be legit.

I had some engine problem with my boat a while back too. Won't know till you trouble shoot them all. Thanks for sharing

Run Marine Pro at the recommended 2 ounces per gallon in your take at WOT most of the time until your refuel. After that do the 1 ounce per gallon maintenance rate. Happy New Year!

First off if you trim the engine down it’ll start easier. With it tilted that much the fuel in the carbs isn’t level. Second bumping the choke like that does virtually nothing. You have to hold it when you first start. Hold it until the engine starts to brake up from to much fuel. These are great old engines. I have a 89 200hp.

I use Seafoam on all my engines, diesel to 2 stroke. Keeps the "varnish" out of the fuel system when it is not being used and clean when running. Great tip on mixing on an engine wit the oil mix at/by the engine! My Mercury runs rough, smokes at slow speed and oil on plugs. I shall use good oil and pre mix my own fuel. I do know how to remove the oil mix mechanism but pre mix is a good way to check B/4 removing.

Thanks! Good video, makes me think again! :-)

Not sure where the overlap is....but "Sea Foam Deep Creep" sprayed directly behind the spark plugs (and leave over night) will do a good job too!

After sitting two years mine wouldn't idle and was about to take the carb off to clean it. I seen this and gave it a shot. I was skeptical but, it worked.

I ran seafoam in my outboard yesterday, before it kept bogging down and wanting to stall . I ran it for 30 minutes and now it sounds great. I’m gonna do it a few more times just to do a through flush ..:
