You have to be pretty wasted to drive the wrong way

My brother, who is a CHP officer, told me to not drive in the far left lane, and never at night. Wrong way drivers for some reason are in the left lane. Stay out of the far left lane ( #1 lane).

Just like going into a parking structure the wrong way they need to have tire spikes that flaten tires coming into the onramp the wrong way. car can't go far on four flats.

I came upon this accident within seconds of it happening as I was on the way to Burbank Airport, It was a horrible scene. I mentioned to my wife that it had to be a wrong way driver with the way the front of the vehicles were damaged. We are so grateful to have missed it and are praying for the victims.

If you are driving at night and the freeway is relatively empty, DO NOT drive in the carpool, or fast lane! That is who the wrong way driver ALWAYS crashes into.

There should be sensors which trigger flashing red lights on ALL overpasses which informs drivers that someone is on the freeway driving the wrong way (the DMV should design a special red light for this and let everyone know what it means). Upon seeing these lights flash, all drivers should exit the freeway ASAP (until the light goes out) These lights should be posted on every overpass. When you see THOSE lights flashing everyone would know someone is on the freeway driving the wrong way.

And this is why I’m so paranoid about using the carpool lane. I myself witnessed a wrong way driver on the 10 east who was driving west on the carpool lane. Drove right passed me and my passengers. We were very lucky that day.

I’m glad the reporter explained how a wrong way accident happens. “One car driving the wrong way”. So glad to know that.

It's too damn easy to get a driver's license in the USA. Compare that to other countries like Croatia where it's required you take 85 hours of driving lessons BEFORE you can even take the test. In Australia: 125 hours are required. Denmark: 59 hours. Japan: 60. Mexico, USA, Canada and many other countries don't require any driving lessons. Is that dumb or is that dumb?

These wrong-way drivers are murderers. Unbelievably horrific that they kill other innocent people that aren’t doing anything wrong and just minding their own businesses.😢
