My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥❤

This song was written by the late, great JJ Cale, as well as _After Midnight._ JJ is Clapton's hero. The success of these two songs, along with Lynyrd Skynyrd recording _Call Me The Breeze, _ *which was also written by JJ Cale, * brought JJ out of obscurity, and allowed him to tour as it suited him, because he received royalties from other artists' recording his songs. He moved to Los Angeles and lived in a trailer with no phone. Eric sought JJ out to produce an album with him, but they ended up recording it together: _The Road To Escondido._ ❤

I could watch this 100 times and not get tired of watching it. This was fantastic. I'm 59 and where was I when this concert happened. Hella badass.

I have his Unplugged cd in my car. There are times that I have a five minute ride to the grocery store and end up taking the long way there because I am jamming his tunes. Gotta love it!!

Man just stands there and brings it. Doesn't need dancers or gimmicks. Says what needs to be said with the music. Respect.
