After weeks of waiting, TwitchCon finally happened.

Twitch’s biggest names came together to celebrate, stream and meet their fans but the party wasn’t great for everyone.

For some, it became a bit of a nightmare - both emotionally and physically...

I guess if you were still unsure if Twitch cared about their streamers or not, then look no further. They don't even care enough to keep their content creators out of literal danger while at a Twitch run event. Actually just pathetic. I can't wait to watch that company fall to the ground.

I look at those sponges that supposed to absorb any impact and i must say they are just looked like soft bricks. And even if it could do as intended the pit doesn't look too deep enough and under it is a hard cement with little paddings

The foam "pit" is literally boggling my mind. The venue did not have what would be extensive construction work to dig out a pit, so the foam was pretty much just scattered around the concrete floor... Who thought that was a good idea?

I went to the Amsterdam Twitch Con earlier this year. No safety issue but just... Empty.
Not a lot of attractions, not at lot of activities, best activity happened outside of the con itself (K-pop girls dancing, and I'm not even a K-pop fan whatsoever). Oh the cosplay contest was neat, but I couldn't enter the room because the hour of beginning in the program I got was wrong and the stream that was shown in the lobby crashed...
