Just to say if it were a walnut they are highly poisonous to dogs, I don’t know about other animals. We had to have our dogs stomach pumped after he
stole a walnut cake.

A walnut is rounder than pecan. Walnuts are beautiful.

The tannis in gren/fresh acorns is toxic to cattle, horses and dogs. Do the research. If completly dried in center, not so much. It can kill them.

It’s an English Walnut.If your dog eats a walnut, you should call your vet. Symptoms of walnut poisoning include:
Panting
Vomiting and/or diarrhea
Restlessness
Increased body temperature
Salivation
Increased heart rate
Inappetance
Muscle tremors
Incoordination
Seizure
