This one one of those songs written so well that the first time you hear it you feel like you've known it forever

Somehow I knew by the chord structure that Jack was planning on wrapping it up with the classic Vulfpeck jingle

2:22 that little chuckle omfg one of my favorite things about Vulfpeck is how they are always completely relaxed and laidback while playing God tier music it's insane. That's REAL musical talent.

Shout out to my former camp counselor crushing the vocals! Glad to see Jacob making great music still and having a great time while doing it. Mr. Jeffries, I Hope you still play with Jimmy, Brian and others from back then (06 - 08) and are taking good care of yourself :)

Excited for the next vulf gig when everyone is wearing towels on their head.

Also this absolutely slaps

I think we can all agree that the soulfulness wouldn't be quite as zesty without the towel. Thank God for the towel.

I didn't think a song could grow on you so much during just the first listen. At first I was thinking "yeah okay, nice, but not particularly interesting", and by the end this Jacob Jeffries dude has solidly wormed that melody into my ear and heart.

Jack often disappears into the band due to the structure of Vulfpeck. This song is a friendly reminder that the man is ridiculously talented.

The three stages of listening to this song on a loop
1) woah this slaps
2) omg this REALLY slaps
3) tears

the tiny hi-hat stand under the keys is the star of the show here

The power stance right after the key change has just cured my depression (together with the rest of this absolute gem of a tune)!

It took half of this song to realize that the bass and high hat weren't added after. That was sweet!

Honestly, "key change into careful foot raise 1 into side squat into backwards careful foot raise 2 all while singing" is a combo that the world's best Street Fighter players couldn't dream of pulling off
