Those feeds and speeds are bang on. The air blast has pretty much made no re cut of chip. Nice work.

You'll notice the outside/drop/waste side of your cut has a better finish. When machining aluminum, you always want to be climb cutting, not conventional. Impressive results for this machine.

What is the endmill size, feedrate, and depth of cut?

Using Steelplates is IMHO nonsense. Aluminium is about 3 times less in weight and easy to work with. So using 2 .... 3 times thicker Aluminiumplates is "better" and can produced by the KillerBee himself ... for the next MillingMachine.

Main "problem" are the too small Aluprofiles and the (too) less connections from Profile to Plate.
So use more Aluminum brackets for more stability:

But understand me right. For the ammount on Material and the very good price KillerBee is a WINNER and best on the market

I understand that you can use IPA as a Cooling/Lubricating fluid and it is supposed to give an outstanding finish if you do.I have tried it on drilling holes in my pillar drill and it does seem to give a nicer finish and drill a lot more smoothly .

Can anyone comment on this please and let me know. I'm a little concerned about the fire risk of using undiluted IPA. Thank you.
