I feel like the game picks and chooses when you successfully parry.

I can parry but for some reason, I could never time it right. Do you have any suggestions on how to do it at the right time?

The real question is: Why is it that sometimes you can seemingly do the exact same thing and press B and completely NOT parry? What precisely needs to happen so that the parry works every time? Parrying pink shots in the run n gun is necessary to complete pacifist mode and pass the mini-bosses, but half the time the shots hit me instead of me parrying off of them.

there's this feature with parrying that I want to be real: there are blue parries, the pink ones only cuphead can parry, the blue ones only mugman can parry

Literally everyone I see play Cuphead doesn't know ANYTHING about parrying.

when i try to spam parry or parry on something twice it wont work

I might be late, but I hope they make a fully-pink boss and then it's up to you if you parry it for insta death, or fight it the fair way. Or even maybe parry the parts of the boss to deal damage! This idea is kinda neat if you think about it😅

Ok, so it sounds hella simple by pressing the jump button a second time while in the air. Before trying to master timing and movement, make sure you don't have the habit of holding the jump button down during the second jump. We also can't press the jump button more than twice before it hits.

I never played cuphead (because i don't have PS4 my brother's friend (that have PS 4) doesn't have the cd and i dont have PC) but if i play cuphead the first thing i'll buy is: spread p.sugar anything else thats cheap

the parry isn't difficult. the game just requires too much from me and I can't be bothered with it. I just think I'm too old and my reflexes are shit. I gave up on the first run and gun level. I got to the end and I thought that big oven thing was the end of the level and just stood there and got maimed.

I know if I was to play and play and play it have it dialled, but I just can't be bothered to put that much into it. I'd rather play tun based strategy ha ha.
