References for... HD Heroes Sonic (2020-2022)

Very not-obvious-at-all references to Sonic Heroes in my animating of HD Heroes Sonic (HDHS). Some of these references are loose by intention. My goal isn't to be exact or make the animations "better" but to elevate the poses or animation in what appeals to me. Typically, it comes across as giving things an extra punch.

This is NOT for a Remake, Fangame, nor a project to make more "HD Heroes" Characters for Blender. (The latter is not in my plans unless commissioned and the commissioner allows a release.)
You're more than welcome to use this model in your own original projects with the proper crediting.

I did this project because Sonic Heroes has my preferred design for Sonic, so I wanted to make a CG-Animation ready rig that was useable on my old crappy pc. That’s all.

Sonic's sway to look at Tails and Knuckles at the end was so much better than his stillness in the original.
Shows he wants to see their reaction to his comments and that he's full of energy and life. Great improvements on the original cutscene

I find it so weird how natural it feels to see Sonic's mouth move from one side to another. You'd think seeing someone's mouth shift from one side to another would be disturbing at the least, but it just feels so damn natural here.
