Wow. Shirecraft was absolutely incredible. The amount of dedication to a server that can be lost to time is quite scary, so seeing these old servers found is so amazing

These massive servers seem so sad to me. All these incredible builds and usually at most just a handful of users on at any one time, if that. It's like traveling the cosmos and finding a planet where a high civilization once existed but the creators disappeared. The feeling is hard to explain.

Kinda miss old servers, where the hubs are just a small area in the center of the entire map, and simply going outside of it is where the world start. As well as when people didn’t really care about building like an expert and just.. built.

Imagine he finds a server that would make 2b2t only the "second oldest anarchy server in Minecraft"

Seeing old 2010-2011 Minecraft builds give me such a strange lonely feeling. Playing back then just felt different than nowadays.

Old minecraft servers really are a thing for themself. I recently found an backup of my old 2011/2013 (at least according to logblock) era server and got it back up and running. Just so I could visit it again with one of the friends from back then and show it to a few other people.
Honestly, if you still know it from the past it is even more magical than just stumbeling across one and exploring it.
I still should have backups from some worlds I played on in the 0.30 era. After watching this video I might try to import tham into modern MC with MCEdit or something.

Keep the content going. It reminds me of the past so mutch :)

That last one just... wow. The amount of time put into that must be absolutely unreal. I don't think I'd even want to build on there, just explore the vast network of this world they have created. I almost wanna just like... get lost in that wonderful fantasy world and stare in awe at the builds, wandering the empty streets.

I love how Minecraft servers just get better with age, like a fine wine. Preserving history and mindset of people from a forgotten era. The biggest difference between Minecraft and the real world is no matter how ancient something is, in Minecraft it never gets covered by dust, nothing withers from old age, so stuff from 2010 still looks as if it was abandoned just yesterday. It's a strange uncanny feeling of a place frozen in time.

I just gotta say, its amazing how much time, effort, and care people put into something that may never be witnessed by anyone else, on a server which, in all likelihood, will remain obscure (although by some chance these 4 are no longer, just think how many other servers like this are out there which will forever be hidden in obscurity). Minecraft has an impact like no other game - its popularity, endless possibility, player-guided experience, and age all lend themselves to such unique circumstances.

Im so glad you found Tregmine. I started crying from the memories there. A lot of the impressive builds were done to get the Builder rank, a psuedo creative mode more like VoxelEdit. The glowstone and soul sand would have been placed with the pattern command.
I remember warp PVP being a nightmare, and there was also a glitch one time where everything was griefable. I had a massive shop in one of the more affordable starting areas that got destroyed, but I made some good friends in that area. Im glad it's back.
I think warp Zippozo is my old warp before i lost my account

I love that players have kind of inherited servermaps and are making them available. Sometimes I randomly think of servers I played on 8 years ago and wish I could visit them and say hi to the people I met there. Communities popped up and existed for short periods of time. We played almost daily and some felt like friends, the server became our home in a digital dimension. Like when you were a kid and got a new best friend while on summer vacation. But then we all had school and work and server shut down. I kept up with a few friends for a while. Mostly not. Now its just public servers with too many strangers, I only do occasional sky block when Im bored. I kind of wish I had gotten more screenshots back in the day. Like photos of friends when we did pranks, events or had ceremonies when we started new world maps.

I was, and am, a committed player on Tregmine, back in 2011-2015, and for the past few years as well. My username was Vozw, and I am Purpleraven now. This video is such a beautiiful flattery of our beloved little server and the community behind it. Although at the time of this comment, the server is having a bit of trouble with the influx of new players, it has been a calm and peaceful little place that I still play on daily. Thank you for this ray of light on Tregmine, my beloved.
Any OG Tregminers watching?

There's always been an interesting fascination with old style of building with just the bare minimum that we used to have... It has its own feel, its own style and is completely different than what we have today where things are becoming more... detailed?

The first server was a neat experience to see for me, I'm learning Danish and was able to pickup some of the words on the signs. Also, the fact that I saw "Ditlev" as one of the names on the signs was a sort of "wow" feel for me because I'd use that name for characters in games growing up and somewhat recently.

This video reminded me of a survival server I used to play on called VanillaVerse.
I played on it in 2015 and it was fun, made a lot of friends but I don’t remember any of their names now though.
The server shut down in like 2018 I think and had started to die around 2016.
