Hello everyone and welcome to the forge! In this week's episode, I forge a blacksmith knife from an old Nicholson file. This is a great way to repurpose something that would normally be tossed into the scrap pile. These knives make great gifts and are fairly easy to make so get out fire up the forge and give it a try! That was a nice clean job. You make it look easy. I always get all tense, for fear of making a huge mistake. Practice will take care of that, I guess. I'm getting ready to use a forge for the first time that I bought off Amazon and I am curious of how long I put my blade in the Forge and how long are the thermal Cycles
