BREAKING Aaron Pierre cast as Green Lantern John Stewart

Lanterns is an upcoming science fiction superhero series based on the Green Lantern comics, and centered around Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart investigating a murder on Earth. Created by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King, it is a part of the DC Universe, and will premiere on HBO in 2025.

Funnily, after watching Rebel Ridge, I was like, "This guy could make a great John Stewart." Then...coincidentally, Gunn brought him in, and now he actually got the role. Perfect casting choice. Hopefully, the material they bring in is compelling and well-executed.
