Hailing from Port Arthur, Texas, Myra Washington is a dynamic artist steamrolling her own path in the industry as a singer/songwriter. Being a Texas girl, country music has always been in her heart. She teamed up with Harmony Hill Entertainment, a veteran owned and operated studio and label based out of Shelbyville, TN on the outskirts of Nashville, for her debut country EP set for release fall 2024. Growing up in Texas, Myra’s roots in country music as well growing up singing in church played a pivotal role in shaping her soulful voice. After college, Myra transitioned to Los Angeles, where she delved into DJing to finance her move and found success collaborating with celebrities and clients such as MAC Cosmetics, DL Hughley, Kevin Hart, and more.

Myra Washington has recently been named one of Music Connection's Magazine Hot 100 unsigned artists! Myra collaborates with songwriters in Nashville and L.A. and she recently received the honor of singing alongside the legendary Bootsy Collins, titled "We Outta Be Funkin.”

Myra's journey extended to the X Factor USA, where she served as a featured background vocalist, collaborating closely with industry luminaries like Simon Cowell, Khloe Kardashian, and Britney Spears. Her singing prowess has graced stages alongside renowned artists and at events like Essence Music Fest, sharing billing with Chris Brown, Patti Labelle, and many others.
