Can you clarify context here? Looks like this is going against PBI Serivce with imported data? So the use-case here might be my application calling a link to a specific report for a client with one or more users where this presets the context of the report for a given user i.e. quasi-RLS (without the security part since a user can reset the filters, right?) .
Does this method work in Embedded, where I could hide filter controls and actually use it as RLS?

Hi Patrick, if a field is filtered in the published report, can you remove/update the filter with a URL parameter?

I am trying to prepare the query string in exactly the same way. Two conditions have to be in the same table or what? But my report still shows the value it was published with. Can we access the parameters in any way using this query string?

Thanks Patrick. Can you use the word "or" in place of "and" within the logic when using multiple parameter filters? If so, I guess that the next question would be whether you can put parentheses around groups of filters?
[My assumption is that "or" is not supported across multiple fields, as I can't see how that would be shown in the Filter panel on the right of the UI. But perhaps it can be used for multiple values in the same field name?]

Is it possible to filter a power bi tile url directly in the tile url and not just the report? I am trying to embed the tiles dynamically in PowerApps but unfortunaltey it is not working.

Hi Sir, I faced a challenge in passing filter to a dashboard that has slicer . So, the since the slicer was single select slicer it was not taking the filter passed in the url directly. It always retained default slicer selection. I was not given the access to edit the dashboards but was given the table and column names. Do u have a solution. Pls help me .

Hi there, thank you! In Power Bi i have a table with on the rows the name of the customer, in column the year and in the cell the amount of their order.
I would like to show only the customer that has done an order last year but not this year (in this case the 2018 cell is empty because i didn't inserted any order of them). How could I filter those (not yet inserted) data?
