After years of hearing Smooth sing his angelic whistles, bahs, tahs, dahs, claps, and snap crackle pops, I finally hear him sing LYRICS. Words. Not only am I shocked, I am astonished at how buttery smooth his actual singing voice is. Not that I was expecting anything less.

HOLY MACKEREL!!!  I can see now what's kept ya so busy!  This is an unworldly new height you've reached with this one.  The whole dichotomy between the two groups of singers, even though they're doing the same song, it's just perfect.  The ones actually singing the lyrics are so sinister too with the black background and everything!  When you're used to seeing someone at a certain angle, it's a bit disarming when they're suddenly all facing you head-on (apply directly to the forehead)!

3:19 this sequence is fantastic, a great rendition, and I'm floored by your vocal range, those are some low bass notes to hit, while still being able to reach the "Gloriosa, generosa!" highs. You are incredible, McGroove!
