sorry to revive an old thread . But this is the time to buy an X. No need to upgrade the the new ones. X>XR and . For the same price or cheaper depending on carrier. If you still rocking a 5 or 6 maybe the XS will be better, but doubt is that much of an upgrade for what X does and is expensive.

For $1150 that thing better be bullet proof, water proof, scratch proof, best cameras a phone has ever had, best audio a phone has ever had, best device that has ever been released

Apple made a huge mistake with the iPhone X. They were trying too hard to be "innovative". The notch and removing the touch id are just gimmicks meant to justify a high price tag.

The iPhone X is quite the upgrade if you have an iPhone 6s but overall it's lacking compared to the latest Android phones. I personally will be picking up the Note8, seems to be a much better device

No headphone jack, No Touch ID, Slower Face recognition, Ugly Cutout, it can play only Cropped videos and games due to the Cutout, Awful camera design, Still no 2k display, only ip 67- Highlight only nerd will buy this TOY

OBSESSED with comparisons/reviews between my current 7+ (256 GB) and the X (256 GB) .. price is daunting but realized that my monthly payment in the Apple upgrade program would only increase by $10 .. so why not go with the LATEST/GREATEST MODEL X .. LOVE the Plus model size but would love the better display in the X .. any thoughts/opinions .. THX

I think you forgot to mention that Apple claims that the glass on the back as well as on the front is the most durable glass in a smart phone ever so I don't think there is much need to emphasise that it will crack
