As a US Navy veteran and ordained Orthodox Deacon, I pray for the prosperity and advancement of the EU over that of the US.

It is obvious that no one country in Europe could finance on its own academic and research fleeing the States. Therefore, it should be the UE that do the financing. There are multiple establishments in all of our countries that could welcome academics and researchers to include them in existing programs, in addition to creating new ones. Developing collaboration between European countries is the way forward anyway if we want Europe to really be a major player in the world scene.

Harvard needs to shut down its DEI courses and research programs! I know, I have seen them; political indoctrination has no place at our universities.

I think it should still be kept in mind that there's a big problem in the US educational system to begin with.
The entire system is overly expensive, and causes student to begin in life with debts and with no guarantees of being in a position in which they can pay them.

However what Trump is doing is totally unrelated to that real problem about US higher education.
