The coolest piece of world building is how Zelda is always just apart of the royal lineage, Link is reincarnated, but Ganondorf is the same guy just in different timelines. This is the same dude who ruled the Hero of Time’s Hyrule with an iron fist. We get to see Ganondorf’s ruthlessness once again, reaction to another Link and his “maturity” compared to his younger days.

Ganondorf had such a chill reaction meeting Link, considering he's looking a boy wearing the same clothes as the one that defeated him in the past.

There is no guarantee he would have done that to the girls. It’d be a bit weird considering when he attacks Zelda he goes out of his way to sheath his sword to pimp slap her instead of slashing her.

But it’s also not shown anywhere that he’d do this to the girls as link was trespassing when he was caught by the helmaroc kings and he went thrown away since ganon had no use for a male hylian when he was looking for a female hylian and we don’t know other prisoners

For now he’s the most civil ganondorf, especially since every other ganondorf destroyed entire civilizations and already had full control by the time link arose and wind waker is the one time he wasn’t actively threatening the world
