It’s not ... a very enviable job; the Trump administration undertook many policies that have impacted millions of Americans. But perhaps none of the domestic overhauls were as significant as the the Trump administration’s overhaul of immigration. Yes, it is messed up. It costs $1000 in fees and a YEAR (or more) to wait just to get a green card for an immediate family member. It also costs $2, 000-$3, 000 to pay off people to sneak across the border without waiting. These immigrants are not dirt poor but middle class people with family connections.

Yeah you saw this in the movie Gangs of New York, Bill the Butcher was a know-nothing party member and gang leader. That line at the end of the movie, "Thank God I die a true American".
