I turned 64-years-old exactly one month ago. When I was growing up we didn't have personal computers, cellphones, the Internet (of course), and even 'Pong' didn't come out until I was 12-years-old. I've always mostly kept up with technology, but to see where things are now, and to think back where we were 50-60 years ago is mind-blowing. Even the transistor itself was only 13-years-old when I was born.

As I once heard stated (about computers) - _"We've harnessed the power of lightning (electricity), and taught sand (silicon) to think."_ The 'thinking' part is a bit of an exaggeration, at least when compared to humans, but we're already getting into a very good simulation. I can't even imagine where things will be in 5-10 years. Perhaps it will eventually be like Steve Wozniack once said, and we'll be little more than 'pets' to the AI. 🐕
