I would love to see a Part II for this, to address the new sensitivity settings in controller, as well as the deprecation of traction mod and scavenger mods not stacking. The sensitivity settings in particular could do with an expert explanation geared towards sniping.

The best sniping guide I have seen. I stopped using snipers when beyond light dropped and have been a shotgun ape. But I want to get back to sniping and this comprehensive guide should help a lot. Thanks again for the time and effort you have put into this.

I started to use these tips yesterday. I’m learning with a really good Eye of Sol with Celerity and Snapshot. I’m trying to not snipe from the same angle more than once.

Never account for my mobility and strafe speed when sniping. Literally I was getting double/triple downs with my sniper and then I’ve been missing so much and going from different exotic armours and changing my build constantly and never realizing what’s it’s doing to my consistency as a sniper. Bruh....definitely coming back to vid next week and see how big of difference this video alone has made for me. But on a real note I’ve been waiting for this video! Finally!!!

Definitely going to try some of this out. I usually do really well as a run and gunner, using HC's and Shotties, but I have always wanted to get better with snipers. I am usually REALLY bad with snipers, so it would be nice to change that.

I think my biggest issue when trying to snipe is that I’m too slow. I guess it’s that my reaction time is slower than it should be because I usually end up getting flinched out of my shot or even just missing an opportunity.

Just wanted to say that this guide is awesome. There were so many little habits that I picked up before that were not good for sniping. Things like playing cover, the 40-60 rule, and many other tips helped me break those habits. I’m not quite at the point where I can drop 20 kills with a sniper, but I am staying alive more and taking more advantageous gunfights, especially 1vX situations.

This video, and many other sniper based videos have been awesome, and they helped me get my first flawless on Trials ever. I hope to get to the point that you are at Shadow, but that is going to be a while. Anyways, wanted to say thank you and keep the uploads coming.
