I like this stuf to, I bought a Troy built TB240 with a honda engine on it for $10. Guy couldnt get it running & brought it to a friend & he cleaned the carb out & it fired wright up runs amazing & put a new air filter on it & filter cover & changed the oil & gave it a good sponge bath & it came out looking like it was just recently purchased. I used this mower to donate to a family from church whos mower broke & couldnt really afford to replace it. They were super happy & i miss the mower lol. It was a nice machine with a great engine.

Whenever I have a problem starting any gas powered implement that has been sitting for a while, I do the following: (1) check oil; (2) check air filter; (3) check spark plug, spark plug wire, and the connection; (4) check auto-kill switch; (5) add fuel system cleaner to the fuel tank and let sit over night.

Whenever possible, I use ethanol-free gas. And I always add Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer to the gas.

Nice lawnmower I found a almost brand new Troy bilt push mower with a Honda engine in the trash last week they threw it away cause they put the blade in upside down and they thought the crankshaft was bent but it wasn’t I put the blade in the right way and it started right up also it’s a new blade as well it’s from 2022
