This recording is consistent with the report of a Russian jet intercepter spraying a US drone with jet fuel--which isn't impossible, if the Russian pilot jettisoned fuel while crossing over the drone.

Why did the Russian jet approach at this weird angle? Wouldn't it be better to fly in the same direction from behind it and then over take it and release the fuel? The drone would fly into the path of the dumped fuel.
