Показать описание
Contents:
Next to dental enamel and dentine, root cementum is also an important hard substance structure of the teeth. Without the root cementum, the tooth retaining fibers cannot attach the teeth to the bone. This chapter therefore deals with the development and structure of the root cementum of the teeth. In this context, we will also clear up a misconception: in anthropology and in forensic medicine, teeth are often used for age determination, because it is thought that age can be counted on the cementum lines of the root: It is not possible!
