Anyone who is here for the first time, listen to the whole nine parts. It’s a journey well told. This is at least the third time for me.

I like the names given to the siblings. It shows that someone loved them to give them names that project hope in an obvious hopeless area. That took a lot of thought to write that into the storyline.

This story is brilliant Jerry was simply an awesome character and his arch was genuinely intriguing 😊❤

What the author did really well was developing the relationships and the characters. And the rhetoric and narrative were extraordinaryly relatable. 😢❤

I'm 6 foot 6, 380. This guy is me, minus the crappy wife (I married a Filipina. She's the best!). I identify with his youth. the brats in middle school were relentless: King Kong, sasquatch, gigantor, bigfoot, lurch, stretch, big 'un, tiny, Conan the barbarian, the walking frown, big gorilla, Mr. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Do you have any idea how exhausting the vetting process a king size human has to go through when dating an average sized woman? It takes forever to prove you're not a weirdo, a rageaholic, a brute or a moron. I told my wife that when we first met, she wasn't allowed to freak out about how large I am. She said, "I don't see how big you are. I just see you." We'll celebrate our 10th anniversary this November! ❤️

Very different... but I can already tell this is gonna be a heart tugger! This big burly man is gonna change some lives as he's on a quest to change his own! Loving the start to this promising story!❤

So far I like this story.

This story kinda resonates I joined the Army at 17 in 1989 and retired in 2010.

At my first post army job I was told I was scary it absolutely mortified me. So i made it my mission to become as least scary as possible I physically shrunk (slight hunched my shoulders etc) as best I could, I practiced using a “smaller” voice.

I dressed less like a former Soldier and more like a jimmy buffet/the dude combo.

I like this story

As a big man with a broken marriage I relate a lot to Jerry.

Omg, this is going to make my week ten folds. I am looking forward to listening to a multi part stories LLC y'all are truly the 💣
This guy's life may have been changed but most definitely deserved a better life, and now his choices for moving forward are totally justified. I can't wait to get intensely emerging in this world of changed man after the disrespectful action of a family dedicated to not appreciating him, I love when justified karma 💯 comes along
Once again, thanks for making this week a little bit easier 😊😊😊

I like the story although when I’m 69 when I was younger being 6 foot tall wearing a size 12 shoe for a woman was gigantic. Kids in school make nasty remarks. One kid used to say I wore the banana barges for my shoes. Others would say I would have to watch out coming through a door or I hit my head. The funny thing is I was very very shy, and that only help them tease me even more. But now that I am 69 years old soon to be 70 I realize how stupid that concern was so what if they called me names names can’t hurt you oh yeah sure they can hurt you mentally but that’s only if you let them nowadays, my largest concerns are getting around Because of the neuropathy in my feet but even that I just chalk up to my dad had it and my brothers and sisters have it so it just runs in the family. When we were young there so many things that upset us not getting a call from a boy not getting picked by the popular girls for cheerleading, but oh how those things are so lost once you’re an adult. Through for anyone reading please remember that although you’re feelings are hurt now and it means the world to you right now that tomorrow will come in each day will get better and know that there are people who love you and there were people who will listen if you need to talk. Good luck and God bless.

Interesting story! How he is trying to get himself under control with his rage just under the surface!! I really want to see how you can make nine installments.

Hi. Being a bit OCD about not starting a multiple part story until all parts have been posted, I've gotta' say, this one was worth waiting on...at least, so far anyway. Really looking forward to see how this one fleshes out 👍🏻👍🏻

Since when do people go wandering in the desert after eating a good meal? I, myself, prefer DESSERT!
