Season 5 still to this day is IMO one of the *BEST* seasons of Ninjago.

Morro was such a fascinating and badass antagonist (which made Kai taking center stage even better because Morro is kind of a "What if" of what Kai could've become if his obsession to become The Green Ninja became so extreme), the creepy haunting atmosphere of the season, Ronin being introduced, the lore of the 16 Realms (including the Chima cameo 😆), Cole becoming a ghost, the Ninja being more limited due to Morro taking away their powers, Nya becoming the Water Ninja, Airjitzu, Garmadon getting one last farewell with Lloyd, etc,

I honestly really loved watching this season as it aired. 🔥

For real Morro is probably the best written villian or character in Ninjago and he is really strong. It's said that he trained harder than ALL of the Four ninjas COMBINED.
Wind is a really strong element if you think about it.
It destroys nations and citys if it wants to. And you can't do nothing against it. It's basically invisible.
Season 5 is just a masterpiece for a kids show and will always be my favourite. Morro is probably the most tragic character but also so * Possessed * by getting stronger and he knows it.
Wanted to be the face of the hero and good side (And probably would have if WU didn't changed the Fire sword for a normal golden katana) but his lust for Power and getting stronger worried Wu. He tried everything to change his masters mind that's how devoted he was to that even as much as eventually DYING at a very young age probably still a teenager therefore wasted his soul and completely sold himself to evil. But even after all that he still wanted his master to recognise him and his devotion and eventually helped them only to die completely and to waste another life but he was so damn devoted of becoming the green Ninja amd fulfilling his true destiny that he didnt even stopped in Death. This dude was so hard that he even CHANGED destiny so that fate let Lloyd and him decide who will be green ninja. And as we all know Morro came back but not Lloyd (Even tho he did that on purpose)
